VARIETIES OF IBERIAN PIGS
There is a classification system, accepted by the scientific community, to identify the different varieties of what is known as the "Tronco Ibérico" (Iberian trunk):

THE BLACK VARIETIES
Negro Lampińo Pigs with little or no hair, fine-textured thin skin with varying colour tones ranging from a deep black to a light slate.

Negro Entrepelado A deeper, almost matt black colour with more body hair, especially on the back.

THE COLOURED VARIETIES
Retinto Different colour tones ranging from a light cinnamon to a darker shade.

Rubio andaluz Light in colour and sometimes with a golden and shiny sheen.

Manchado de Jabugo Light-coloured skin with black, often irregular, markings.

Tobiscal This species is prone to tonal variety and can range from a dark blonde to a burnt tone, with a light or dark skin.
